Inquiries
There is no fee charged for discussing your project or giving you a cost estimate, both are absolutely free. In order to understand your project goals and to give you a fair and accurate cost estimate, you will need to provide me with information that will be requested in a project brief. I will send you the project brief following our phone call.
Contracts/Deposits
An electronically signed contract is required for all jobs.
Depending on the size of your project, a 50% deposit may be required before any work can begin. For small requests, I typically ask for full payment before starting work.
Payment requirements will be detailed to you during your consultation and written in the contract. In the event a 50% deposit is required, the balance will be due upon completion of the final copy.
Revisions
There will be only 2 revisions for each individual project. After you have received the first draft of your request, you will review the copy and request any necessary changes you would like done. Revisions must be requested within 30 days of receiving your first draft. After the 30 day period if revisions are still needed, I can make further changes at an additional fee.
Payment
Both the deposit and the balance will be requested by PayPal invoice which will be sent to you via email at the email address you provide. You can pay with a credit/debit card, checking account, or Pay Pal account. I also accept personal checks.
Please note: You DO NOT need to have a PayPal account to make your deposit or satisfy a balance. You can use any of the above payment methods.
Deadlines
During our consultation we will agree on a start and end date that is ideal for your project. Deadlines are specific to each project. Generally, I require at least 1-3 weeks to complete a project but can complete it sooner if requested. If you require the project to be completed in under a week, please let me know during your consultation.
Notice of Service
I reserve the right to refuse service to anyone. Some reasons I may need to refuse service can be due to a full schedule, unfamiliarity with subject manner, unrealistic deadlines, or requests for copy that is offensive or illegal.
I guarantee that you will be satisfied with the copy you’ve requested and will offer 2 complimentary revisions to ensure that you walk away with copy you can be proud of and that embodies your brand’s voice.
With this said, I cannot guarantee or claim liability for the successful performance of any copy I write for you. I can, however, guarantee that your final copy will be exactly what you’ve requested.
